The admission process is declared by the DTE, and is followed at N.B.NavaleSinhgad College of Engineering, SolapurThe deserving students will be awarded Govt. sch. On merit basis

- The First to Fourth Round of admissions for all Engineering courses will be conducted by the centralized procedure of Director of Technical Education, MaharashtraState, Mumbai.
- After the Fourth Round (Counselling Round) of admissions, the vacant seat positions will be displayed on the web site of www.dte.org.in and will be allotted by inter-se merit in the respective category by college authorities. The merit list of N.B. NavaleSinhgad College of Engineering, Solapur is based on total marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at the H.S.C / Final year of Diploma in Engineering examination

Engineering Admission
- Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State candidate and OMS candidate for admission to first year of degree courses in Engineering / Technology :
Candidates should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks i.e. 150 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 45% marks i.e. 135 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. The candidate should have obtained non-zero score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at MHT-CET or candidate should have a valid AIEEE Score (i.e. total score should be positive).
- Eligibility criteria for J & K migrant candidates :
Candidates should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subject English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks i.e. 150 marks out of 300 marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. The candidates belonging to this type are not required to appear for the MHT-CET / AIEEE.
- Direct Admission to Second Year of Degree Course in Engineering (Lateral Entry) Eligibility: The candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering Examination conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education or equivalent with minimum 60% marks as per the rules of Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra is eligible to take admission to Direct Second Year Degree Course in Engineering.
